Just a little thing, I think it'd make the site look a lot more professional(?) and just visually more attractive to have a logo instead of "SCIProgramming.com" in the top left of the site. Something like "SCIProgramming.com" could then be an Alt for if the image wouldn't load.

That I in SCI seems a little weird, but yes, something like that. There could be a competition and everything to decide the logo, where people submit their own designs and stuff.

I didn't manipulate the glyphs in any way. That I is as it would appear in-game, if "she's naked" or "he's back" contained any I at all.

I think it's because the S and C look nice and big, but the I looks squished in comparison. :P

I fixed the kerning (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kerning) between the 'C' and the 'I'.
I think it looks better now.

And now I matched the spacing between the Sierra logo to the 'S' and the between the 'I' and the 'P' (10 pixels).

Looks cool though. Actually, I liked the hand icon. But at least this Sierra icon doesn't resemble any of the ones other sites use.

That is just the builtin logo from some of the fonts, is it not? Anyway, this site is largely based on having SCI Companion and its icon is the Half Dome logo.

Correct. It's a hand-tweaked upscale of the system menu icon.

This logo that's currently being formed looks a lot better than just some text, it's more professional and makes us seem like a more welcoming community. A suggestion I have though is that this needs a tagline or slogan, something that paints us in a good way, and makes us even more welcoming.

I think that's the best tagline we can get from that. Heck, drop the "Remember:" part, that's pretty obvious to a Sierra fan.

That's some harsh accusations there!
Anyway, your kerning is not enough. You have 3 pixels of space between the 'C' and the 'I'. The 'S' is just one pixel apart from the 'I'.
I like the "save early save often" bit, but I feel the font there is a bit too large. I think a smaller font and a smaller gap between the "save early" and "save often" would look better. Maybe if you use a font small enough to fit it all between the 2 'g's.

The font for Save Early Save Often is fine I think, but I think the Save Early should end just before the first G in Programming, and the Save Often should start just after that G.

Now I understand - I didn't pay attention to your (virtual) pixel grid - only the real one.
Anyway, how's this kerning?

The C feels a little too close to the I, almost as if it's one letter.
... sigh... pixels...

And that's why, originally, I went with no kerning. After all,
I do build up speed for twelve hours the engine proper doesn't do any kerning either ;)
