Title: Bitmap-SCI0 Converter Example
Post by: MusicallyInspired on May 19, 2007, 01:54:49 PM
Just like to show what a great tool that bitmap to picture resource converter is just in case people are wondering how well it works. I converted a High Coloured remake of a KQ3 picture I made with it and the results look not unlike the few EGA version of VGA games that Sierra made (SQ1 Remake, SQ4, KQ5, LSL1 Remake, LSL5, Longbow, etc). Here' s how it looks.

I may use this converter exclusively for my next SCI0 remake.

wow! That does look rather nice! Perhaps I could achieve similar success in using hand-drawn images then converted for Betrayed Alliance.

Glad it's working well... I wonder what it looks like in freesci, with the dithering thing turned on.
