I'm stuck in the game Gold Rush, can someone remind me what i need to do to get the letter from my brother in the beginning of the game... i cant remember how to do it...
PLEASE HELP...

To get the letter just leave the post office and come back every once n' a while to see if it has arrived. Eventually it will be there.

everytime i leave brooklyn, it says im missing something important, what am i missing? and where is it?

Everything depends on how you decide to leave. I usually go by horse drawn waggon. There is also 2 different pathes the boat can go by.

I want to go around cape horn, i seriously am retarded, i cant remember anything with this game, i get some things, but i cant remember how to get fishing line for example after we go around cape horn, i know i need it, i just dont know where to get it, i have the metal shavings and paper clip and stick... i need help....

I couldn't figure out some of the early "puzzles" in Space Quest 2, so I just loaded it into AGIStudio 1.34 and peeked at the logic files.  But then again, I'm a dirty, dirty cheater.
