Title: AGI Sound Tutorial
Post by: Nick Sonneveld on March 04, 2002, 02:12:31 AM
Hi,

I've knocked up a sound tutorial to help people with their agi sound adventures.  It's part of my agi development site that's in the works.

AGI Development Site (http://www.agidev.com/)
AGI Sound Tutorial (http://www.agidev.com/sndtut.html)

I'd appreciate any comments, spelling, errors, more information, stuff like that.

The contents:
  1. Introduction
  2. Limits of the AGI Sound Format
  3. Extracting Sounds
  4. Converting From Other Formats
  5. Merging
  6. Scripting
  7. Visual editors
  8. Playing sounds with external tools
  9. Sound in your game
 10. In the Future
 11. Location of Tools
 12. References
 13. Revision History

Great! That's exactly what I need to put some extra effort in actually completing my work. I'll try to bump the priority up one level. ;)

Hey - it's working already. I'm not far from completing a rip of the sound editor to a stand-alone application. I've rewritten large parts of the editor to be easier to use, I hope that most people will be able to learn the tracker interface.

A fresh picture from today on the progress;
