Title: Questions about this board's rules
Post by: robingravel on April 20, 2003, 07:12:31 AM
No offence to AGS users but The new Zak McCracken is the second AGS game it shows to this board. The first
AGS game I saw on this board was King Quest II SVGA.

I'm just wondering if the AGS users could announce their games on this board. Myself I announced "DG: the search of the batteries" an AGS game to Off topic not to the SCI board.

Note: I call King's Quest II SVGA because VGA does not
support 320x200 with above 256 colors.

That's right... AGS games should be announced in Off-topic...

It should be in off topic, but it's not hurting anyone. Since it doesn't happen too often, I let it slide. If it happens, say, more than once every month or two, then I will delete it. AGS is close enough to SCI to let it slide once in a while. AGI, NES, FPS, spam or anything else would be moved immdiately though.

Well I guess the blame is on me:
The reason I posted those here is because I don't read the off-topic board too often, and I believe those games are close enough to sierra's SCI to be of interest.
If it bothers anyone I'll just keep it to myself.
BTW - I'm not related to any of those projects. I just found them good.
I can promise you I'll post a message announcing SCI Studio VGA's release (as soon as it's out) on LucasArts\AGS related boards as well...  ;)
Omer.

I agree with Brian.  Some AGS game look the same than SCI games.
