Ok, really this is just a note to myself here so I don't forget to address this at some point.
The stars... a rating of 2.8 resulted in only 2 stars displaying where as 2.75 shows 2 stars plus a partial.
Average rating... round it to two decimal places. Some of them are showing as really long.
