SCI Development Tools / Memory Limit in Views

So I was trying to import the main character from PQ4 into a view and I noticed after about the third loop when I save the whole view just goes grey and all the images are lost.  Is there a size limit to a view?

Thanks for this IDE - discovered it very recently and I am now able to achieve a childhood dream of creating an actual SCI VGA game.  Just wondering how difficult would it be to port the IDE, etc to Linux?
