Mega Tokyo AGI Archive / DOWNLOAD The 13th Disciple
« on: October 04, 2002, 04:06:37 AM »
Dear people,

Version 1.00 of 'The 13th Disciple'-demo can now be downloaded from the official website www.multicards.nl/royal/index.html (top left corner).

I found the program works best with NAGI. There are some points you need to be aware off before playing this game:

* No score or sound has been included yet;
* For some reason, some inventory items will not display in ego's inventory list. I have been working on a solution, but to no avail so far. If anyone knows a way out, please contact me;
* Without spoiling, the puzzles will be far-fetched in some cases, but that will be resolved in the end product. All puzzles will work towards escaping from the school, a goal that can't be achieved while playing this demo;

Having said that, I hope the board appreciates the game as much, as I have had joy creating it. Regards and of course, I'm happy to hear all comments, suggestions, solutions with regards to the '13th Disciple',

Regards,
CaptAmerik@

PS: Parental guidance might be in order for the intro.  ;)

Mega Tokyo AGI Archive / Documentation as part of the game
« on: September 04, 2002, 07:02:05 AM »
I'm working with the idea of making the documentation (being a booklet, a map or maybe a well-integrated and frequently updated website) an instrumental part of my game. For example, I always loved the way how the Quest for Glory- and Colonel's Bequest-documentation contributed to the look and feel of the game. Once you were done reading, you were really locked into the story... (although QFG was a bit overdone,  :P).

What's this boards' opinion and experience?

Thanks for your opinions,
CaptAmerik@

Mega Tokyo AGI Archive / AGI on XP
« on: June 27, 2002, 10:31:29 AM »
Hi all,

I downloaded AGI Studio a long time ago and am in the process of doing the logic for my own game (desktop has WinME). Now, I just bought a laptop with Win XP and for some reason, when I start my game from there all output-text is erased. Instead I see a Wingdings-type of font which is unreadable? Anybody a suggestion to what I can do.

Also, just uploaded SCI Studio. For some reason, my desktop crashes when opening a new or template game. Please help!

Thanks and looking forward to becoming part of the community!
