Script issues with Companion
« on: June 01, 2007, 07:05:32 PM »
I tried creating a room script for resource number 44 and it says it already exists. I know it does not exist. And it doesn't even exist in the "src" directory. The whole problem started when I was creating room scripts and after I finished 43 it automatically went straight to 45 instead of 44. I didn't realize this until I hit about script 50. Then I deleted them all down to 43 and tried starting again, but instead it took me to resource number 51 and said that all the scripts from 44 to 50 already existed...even though I deleted them from the game and the "src" directory. Any ideas? Will I have to use a backup directory?

It's probably because they're in the game.ini file.
Delete the appropriate entry from the [Script] section of game.ini.

I guess I should do that automatically when you delete the last compiled script resource for a particular #?

Ah, many thanks! Didn't even know that file existed. Yeah, automatic would be nice. Thanks for the help.
