You should have a link back to your website from your forums, that will make it easier to navigate.

That's probably what the home button will become, when there's a bit more home worth going to.

Good idea. You might also want to add a forum button up there as well. Have home link to the website, and have forum link to the main page of the forums.

Done. I still need to stick it in the linktree, but at least the button is there now.

I think you should arrange the buttons to 2 lines .. like:

Home | Index | Search | Profile | Help | Logout
         Gallery | Shop | Arcade | Chat

with forum specific buttons on top and additonal buttons below.

I started working on a phatty navigation bar last night. When you take into account linking to the main pages as well, theres games, downloads. tutorials ...

I'll try to get it done either tonight or tomorow, see what you think of it then.

* So it's not quite responding as well as I think it should yet, but I stuck up what I was working on so you could offer any navigation advice if you have it.  It's in the main site area only still, but as you can see we are going to have a pretty big site really and I don't think our simple buttons are going to cut it much longer. But if anyone has feed back while I'm going along feel free to throw it out there, it's your community too.

** Never mind I broke it, I had to upload an old one again. It should still be tonight or tomorow.

*** I unbroke it, :D , but it's still not done.but I'll try not to break it again so you can actually preview it a little. You may need to hit refresh to see any recent changes.

Talk about some navigation, It's lacking in style, but it definately makes it easy to jump around the community site and the forums. I'll try to get it on to the forum pages later on, meanwhile the forum specific options will still appear separately, but those consist of only the profile and login/logout  buttons and will probably appear on the right side under the current banner area. Everything else is included in the new nav bar and will be present on every page, soon.

Yeah I know, earlier when it was gray it didn't stand out from the browsers window, then when it was blue I had some complaints about how readable it was, partly from size, but the blue didn't contrast with the black well. So now the text is a little bigger, the bar is a little bolder, I really don't like it green, but it isn't too terrible I guess so it's going to stay that way while I work on other things.

It's funny though all that traffic from msn bot yesterday prompted me to get into gear with this phatty search engine friendly nav bar, and I haven't noticed them once today.  :P

Ok, so Like Eigen and Chris suggested, the buttons are done. Between those and the link tree, navigating from one page to any other page of the site should be relatively easy.

The only thing that is probably going to change now is that the sci editors button will become a tools button where all of the tools of our trade will be listed and available for download, not just the editors. Oh yeah, and the chat room is going to make it's reappearance.

Anybody have any other suggestions for additional pages or navigation, or really anything site related for that matter. There are a few things that I know I need to finish, like the Sierra Games images, walkthroughs and point lists, as well the tutorials aren't all blue yet either... but besides those.
