... Why can't we do that with our images to show them what they are getting...along with the attached zip file. I don't think it is necessary to have all of the cells and loops of the fairy...just the first one...if they like it they can d/l it...most likely they will take it tweek it and delete it. ...
But then in miscellaneous threads throughout the board, there will be Two files now instead of just one easily organised in the gallery. When you view the image in the gallery, all you have to do is right click and copy and paste, or save picture as. No downloading, no unzipping, no virus checking. You are checking those zips for virus aren't you. It's never a good idea to download something and just run with it.
For your reason of it's simpler to just add the views, for all the other steps and concerns, it's easier to copy and paste from the bitmap. You know where a cel is by looking at it. Then just copy each cel in paint and paste to the editor view. Besides which, when/ if Troflip modifies the import function, it would require less steps to load the bitmap than to unzip and add the resources.
My two main concerns are finding and sorting the resources, which won't happen in the threads over time. While the gallery even let's you associate keywords.
Security over zip files. I can't check what's in them and they are available to the public immediately, just because you trust who posted it doesn't mean sneaky people haven't tampered with it since then.
When the game upload script is finished, games won't need to be attatched anymore, if we aren't attatching these, then I can turn zip attatchments off and that clears up that whole concern all the way around.
