You can get the Amiga version here:

I'm not sure if it's AGI or SCI. If it's AGI, it should work with NAGI.

I've got Kings Quest 3(amiga version) running in NAGI.

I have a problem. I'm trying to make the Flying like an Eagle or a Fly spell. I have the fly wings, saffron, rose petal essence, and the magic wand along with all the utensils(bowl, cup, knife, etc).

I open the "spell book" to page IV and then type:
Put a pinch of saffron in essence
Then I see a box for typing in the verse, I type
Oh winged spirits, set me free hit enter and get to the next line
Of earthly binding, just like thee hit enter and don't get to the next line... Instead, the game thinks that I'm done with the verse and says that I've got huge eyes...

The rest of the verse(which I found here: http://home.earthlink.net/~jason1701/spellbook.html ) is:
In this essence, behold the might
To grant the precious gift of flight

Thanks in advance,
K.J.

How about something like the Donkey Kong for the Super Nintendo? Just be sure that whatever you make that there are secret place where you can get lots of points or something ;).

I thought that it probably wasn't legal. Oh well, I'll just have to look on eBay for a legal one(unless Sierra has released the Kings Quest games into the public domain. Anyone know?).

Does anyone know where I can get Kings Quest(1-5 any)? Or is it even legal to have it if I don't already own a copy?

Thanks in advance,

I was just messing around with AGISCI's Javascript code and found out what Joel said. I think that what needs to happen is that the game needs to be started from a link that opens a browser window with no menu, address bar, or nav bar(like those anoying popup ads).

I have made a function to make the cursor stay the hand at all times even when you are not over a link.

I have also made a function to disable right clicking so that you cannot look at my code/or cheat while playing the game.

Could you please send those my way?

Go for it and let us know your progress :).

BTW, I think that you will need to use CGI as it is far more powerful than JavaScript, and CGI programs can be written in C/C++, BASIC, PASCAL, etc...

Though I guess that you might be able to use Java.

Where did you register your domain at?

Isn't "agi" trademarked by Sierria? If so, I suggest against getting a agi.com/.net/.org address. The saftest would probably be the agigames.org

Okay, I went over and downloaded Kings Quest 5(amiga version) here:

I then downloaded ADF Opus: http://www.zipworld.com.au/%7Egharris/adfopus.html

And... what do I do now? I would like to use NAGI or Sarrien to play it.

Thanks in advance,
K.J.
