Joey,

I don't really have the creative energy to come up with any more stories right now, so I don't think I'd take part in the contest, but I'd be happy to make some views and/or pics for the contest. Don't worry, I would do everything g or pg-rated. Also, I'm a much better artist than I let on with my lousy FQ1 pics, so don't worry about crappy art either. In fact, if you give the specs, I will make the pictures as you want them. Let me know.

FQ2 is still coming soon. Unfortunately, I've had to put it on hiatus for the last two and half months because of school work and deadlines at real work, which is a shame because it is so very close to being finished. I promise I'll get back to it when I can.

Gosh, I hope that FQ2 will be someone's list when it's released. Sorry, guys that I've had to delay the release. My graduation is coming up and I've been working like mad on it, and with my job and girlfriend, it leaves time for little else. Argghhh!!! The torture!

Anyway, if he really had made his own version of FQ2, I'd be a little upset.

I'm sorry that FQ2 isn't ready yet. I've had to put finishing it on hiatus because of other projects I need to finish, which really are more important I'm sorry to say. But, I'm confident I'll put some more work in it this week and it will be really fantastic.

Anyway, get that link fixed so we can all see your fantastic AGI work with FQ2... lol.

I'm so excited.

Hi Joey, Can I make a suggestion for your game?

When the roads go diagonal, you should have the road increase exactly one pixel horizontally for every pixel that increases vertically. That way, if you hit the diagonal key, you move smoothly through it with either having to adjust or hit the wall.

Of course, you should have the car view change when the direction changes.

I myself am a fan of F*** Quest, but I thought F*** Quest II was abandoned.  

FQ2 is not abandoned! Far from it. Jeez. It won't be released next week like I hoped, but it will be very soon. Unfortunately other [non Adventure game related] tasks have taken precidence, but I still get time in on it. In fact, I worked on it until 4am last night. My hope is that when released, it will re-inject excitement into AGI again and we'll have more people here. (Too bad I'm doing FQ3 in AGS, but that's a different story).

I'm so excited!!!

I occasionally do a sort of full screen animation where I cycle through different pics all in the same logic, and after about twenty or thirty cycles of that, I get the same error too. It's just one of the limitations of AGI, and it has to be worked around. You can't do too many add.to.pic commands or change the pic in the same logic or it will crash like this. Tis life.

Well, Robin, ordinarily, that would be a great idea, except that I'm making FQ3 in AGS instead of AGI, so it won't be compatible. However, the special ending I've made already hints at FQ3 anyway.

I think I'm just going to include the ending for everybody.

Well, "better" is a strong word. And, it should be ready by the end of the month, but there are no guarantees. So, hold on to your potatoes and it will be released when it is released.

Really? I thought Time Quest wasn't finished... I didn't realize you got something out of demo 2 for getting the max points.

You make a good point, Chris, and I'm inclined to agree with you. I really want everyone to see the ending whether they get all the points or not. I did spend close to a week making it. Well, we'll see what others have to see.

Hi,

Well as you all know, FQ2 is in its final stages. I've made the whole end of the game minus certain sort of scenes.

Here's my question: I've made a special ending which gives a way a lot concerning FQ3. Do you think that this ending should only be shown for those who have got a maximum score or should it be shown for everybody? I got inspired by how Enclosure only shows the bloopers for those who maxed out their scores. What do you think?

You may get your wish, Joey. I was planning on releasing the game around March 29th anyway. Actually, it will probably be a couple days earlier than that, around March 25th or so. Well, of course, this all depends on how QA goes. I still have to give my QAers the game. Ha! Sorry, guys.

Thankfully, I have had some free time to work on the game today. With a close to 50 hour work week, a girlfriend, and people wanting to hang out all the time, it seems I never get time to work on it. Argghhhh!!!

Yes, I meant "soon". It will done soon. It's about a week away from being sent for QA, so... it will be released in just a couple weeks!
