Just out of curiosity, why isn't ego_view_no (or v16 for all you defineless people
) updated when you change ego's view? It seems to only be updated when you go to a new room. It's listed under "special variables" in the AGI Studio help file, so I would assume it got updated by the interpreter when you changed ego's view, but for some reason it doesn't.
Or is it just that a more appropriate name might be something like ego_view_no_on_room_entry (ignoring the somewhat ridiculous length of that name)?
