Allright, first I tried to use Roger Wilco (SQ3) as a base, due to his simplicity. Now I got the same character based on Template Guy, but when I run the game, it's still Roger Recolor!

I don't fully understand what you're getting at.

However, the main reason you may not be seeing your new view is because if an extracted view (ie. view.000) exists in the same directory as your resource.001 and such, then it will load that and ignore anything in the packages. The was used by Sierra as a patch system. Deleting the extracted file will cause it to read from the package again.

...explains why the VGA Demo had so many seperate files, too...
