Finally, most of the sound editor is now complete. I've put some amazing amounts of hours on the sound part now, and it feels great to finally get somewhere.

This is a special build, with only the sound resource editor included. If there are no major bugs in this release, I will probably stop working on the sound editor for a while, to allow the other editors to mature. Next thing will probably be finishing the picture editor part of Visual AGI, expect some beta releases next month.

The only things missing from the sound editor now are;

* Rewriting the player thread (adding noise playback, minimizing latency..)
* Adding MIDI import
* Changing the data format of the Visual AGI resources.

So, please delete _ALL_ of your old versions, as they are totally obsolete at this moment. Then go download!

Btw, I added some more help on editing in the "beta_notes.txt". Please make sure you read it FIRST.

And - notify me of ALL errors you find!! I haven't got the time to test it as thoroughly as I'd like.

Is it possible to play all three voice channels when you export it as an AGI sound resource. I only get voice one!

Use NAGI, the pc version of the interpreter that Sierra made didn't support it. But NAGI does, games sound much better in NAGI than in the regular interpreter.

It's all fun and games until someone get's hurt then it's just fun. ;)

With the latest beta, the delete key no longer works to remove a note, which makes it kind of unusable for me ('cause I make a lot of mistakes).

Also, in the manage pattern dialog box, the drop list for the combo box is kind of small. It looks like the default size that Visual Studio gives combo boxes, which is about the height of one item -- it's hard to navigate with those tiny scroll arrows.

Oops. I must have forgotten a line or two somewhere. But, you should really use "." instead of Del. A "." clears the note, where a Del removes the row and moves all the following rows up one step.

Thanks!

I'll fix both of these two issues to the next beta..!

It's going all right. I've spent several weeks on rewriting all loading/saving of resources to XML format, and writing an XML class for handling XML files.

It's actually complete now, and works great. The reason that I haven't released a new beta is that I haven't added a lot of new functionality, the XML part alone is not sufficient enough, I think. ;)

I'll perhaps upload a new version within two weeks..!
