New version. This one is much more feature rich. It now includes a fairly complete help file with format documentation and MI's Soundbox tutorial. This version also incorporates Gumby's 32-bit MidiToSound. The installer includes a library of audio resources that can be used in your game.
It allows batch processing. Automatic renaming prevents overwriting. File lists to be processed can be populated by browsing for files or folders or by dragging and dropping files/folders into the lists. Once populated, the lists will display at least file size and in the case of WAV files, it will display # of channels, encoding, length and bit depth. Any file in the lists can be edited, as long as there is an appropriate editor installed for the files type. This can be invoked from the context menu. WAV and MIDI files can be previewed from the context menu, double clicking on the chosen file or from the play controls at the bottom.
This version is customizable. It will retain basic settings. Though the installer will allow you to install Anvil Studio and Audacity, you may choose different WAV and MIDI editors if you have others that you prefer. To the right of the toolbar is a launchbar that you can drop programs, files or shortcut on for quick access to these files and programs. You can manage the launchbar from the context menu or from Tools > Options, where you can set a number of other preferences
