So many people try to put me in their game.

You know Brian. You're not alone to have Brian as name.

I'm wondering if somebody called Serguei get offenced if he/she sees I used their names in Serguei's destiny.,

Will I need to remove Serguei's destiny from my site?

1. I included a view of myself with the game.
2. the dialog states "Brian Says: My Pipes are King". That's my avatar!

Got to say...it would piss me off too If I would be some weed smokeing dude in a game that looks....not so good ;)

It's not just a weed smoking dude, it's a crackhead--that's hardcore drugs. Weed is one thing, and would piss me off, but crack is just off the chart!

Ok, the necessary changes have been made and I uploaded it again (I guess I did have the game, might be missing a few things though).  By the way, if anyone wants to use me in a game, they are welcome to.  I don't care if you have me as a nerd, a gay guy, a woman, a crackhead, a terrorist, anything is ok with me.

First off, you trying to say something like " if anyone wants to use me in a game, they are welcome to" is like saying that I am a moron for complaining you put me in your game--as a crackhead. Second, I have a reputation to hold up, you do not--clearly if you did you would do something like this. I am working hard to become a known, respected computer programmer. I don't want people downloading some game made with my software, containing me as a crackhead--people will assume I actually had something to do with it.

I don't see why someone would decide to put you in their game for any reason regardless. Third, you state " don't care if you have me as a nerd, a ...", stop digging yourself into a bigger hole. Descrimination is not welcome here. So you're saying that someone being gay or a woman is a lesser human being, and on the same level as a terrorist or crackhead? Stop right there and stop making more enemies! You need to grow up!

I just thought if they really liked you, they would put me in the game to get me back or something.  I just listed nerd, woman, etc. as things I am not.  I wasn't saying they are bad things.  I wasn't trying to imply discrimination.  Peace

I looked through your game and see a lot of well done art and many already finished scripts. I see a lot of potential there. I was just peeved that I was in it as a crackhead, but other than that, I think it's going to be great if you finish it.

Wow, 580 downloads so far.  That would be really bad if that many people heard the name Brian and thought of him as being the crackhead from the game.

No.  I'm serious. 650 people downloaded it so far.  I only thought maybe 20 or 30 people would get it.  I guess a lot of people like Jay & Silent Bob.

Alot of people are eager to see what games can/are being produced. (I downloaded it and deleted it)

Jay and Silent Bob vs.  SciStudio Game   vs.    C64

Hey Brian how many copies of Gnome game have been downloaded?

Hey Robin how many people have downloaded the c64 game?

These questions are actually rhetorical because I would estimate the amount to be rather large,

My point: quit trying to brag about the number of people who have looked at your game, the difference between looking and liking should be your primary concern.  I haven't seen anybody (except Brian) have any real words of remote praise for it.

I for one would like to suggest that instead of giving me a traced tour of posters and screenshots how about using them to tell a story or make a game that consists of more than just easter eggs, and finally if you are abandoning it's development, don't bother releasing a demo!

P.s. if brian didn't want to be associated with the context of your game then lay off, your little jabs and off hand remarks are getting old...remember he was the only one who had any words of encouragement for you.

Well ... 650 downloads so far, that's fine statistics for our fastakilla, hmm?

But that number dowsn't imply, how many of 'em have enjoyed that game. Maybe they got rid of it after a short try? I for my part would have done so.

I have looked at Robin Gravels naturette-series for some short glances (I 'm not a gamer), as well as this Voodoo Girl thing from Andrew Baker, gosh, the art in those games is cool. It reminds me of the old times with the C64 (Zak McKracken, Maniac Mansion especally). I like the look of those games. this is more than nostalgia, it's full of remembering good childhood times.

What I do not appreciate is abuse of persons as well as any tinkering with drugs be it in games be it in real. It's crap enough round there with shit and weed and so on. Here in vienna, they deal in plein-air at some places.

Mr. fastakilla, you are to ask persons if they permit you the usage of their identity in your game/stories and you ARE to respect them. No shit, no weed no discrimination of other ppl.

I don't know because I don't have counters on my site,

698 downloads at now are impressive for a game who was released since tuesday.

That's because the most c64 graphic used in the game is 160x200. AGI looks like some c64 games.

Dang it.  I keep accidentally getting people mad.  I wasn't bragging, I was scared, because the game is really crappy at least for the time being.
