how many...
« on: November 03, 2001, 11:39:52 PM »

A simple question,

if I make my own game, how many will actually PLAY it?
I mean in a way it doesn't matter, because I'm such a big agi-fan, but still you want ppl to play your game...

Does anybody have any numbers?...

I know for sure that I will play it. I have played every AGI fan game I have seen.

I think enough people will play the game my friend. There are enough of us around here who still love to load up a new AGI adventure.

Hi,
as there are no more AGI-games to be officially released, and there are not too many new adventure games to be released in genereal, we are all grateful for any new AGI adventure game.
Keep things going.

DG: the agimouse adventure game does not count as an
agi game?

Hi Robin,

What I meant to say is that no more AGI games get officially released, so it's the unofficial fanmade games we are all happily sticking too.  8)
The fact that we're all still out here, enjoying AGI proves that these AGI games are not "fast-food" software, but games that provide fun for decades, regardless of trends. It's us that keep the spirit of stone-age-graphics adventure gaming alive.  ;)
And now, as the winter is arriving, we need good old adventure games more than ever.

Hi Bokkers.

If you talking about agi games from Sierra you're right. Don't
expect to Sierra to release new agi games.

So many fan made games are unofficial agi games.

Did SQ: the lost chapter is an unofficial game?

Did you mean that DGmouse is a junk game not a quality game?

Space Quest: The Lost Chapter IS an Unofficial game. Though I did it in part to celebrate Sierra's AGI games, (in other words in Omage to them), I never had permission from them to make it.

"Did you mean that DGmouse is a junk game not a quality game?"

I think Bokkers was trying to say that we are all here still enjoying AGI games, including games like DGmouse, hence proving the quality and longevity of both the old AGI games, and the NEW Fanmade games (like DGmouse.)

Hi everbody,

have been travelling around during the last days.

Thanks Vonster, thats exactly what I wanted to say.
DGmouse if of course a quality game, I enjoyed playing it much.  :D
I would like to see more games like this, also with the icon-interface.

Have fun,
b.o.k.

Thanks Bokkers.

DG: the agimouse adventure game was a testing.
Serguei's destiny 2 will support agimouse with smaller icons.

You will use a text parser only when you cast a spell.

Robin Gravel

Note: don't expect to play Serguei 's destiny 2 this year
because I have to finish my unfinished games first.

;) ;) ;)
