Pepper's Adventures in Time AKA Twisty History isn't rare, just a game that is less popular (like most educational titles)...

Also, there are Portuguese and Japanese versions of games too (didn't see them yet though)... LSL6 has a German, French, Spanish, Italian & Portuguese version...

And BTW: some of the foreign versions are bilingual too...

Additions:

EcoQuest 1 French
EcoQuest 2 French
King's Quest 6 French
Laura Bow 2 French
Police Quest 4 French
Space Quest 4 French

Yeah - I know that some of the version are billingual - those are the most interesting for me! (I LOVE the sq3 german-english version).
japanese version? that I must see!
I'll soon update the list.
and about pepper: HWM is right there - It is SCI, but not realy rare - just less popular...
If many people here will tell me they never heard of it then i'll add it to the list.

Noticed something... Does anyone has a copy of LSL1 SCI with copy-protection? Why does the 'common' version not include it? (Or maybe it does?)...

Never saw it until recently, still wondering why the other release does not have it... It's not like it's cracked or something...

I have two LSL1 VGAs, one original CD, and another on the LSL Greatest Hits CD. I wasn't aware of a version without copy protection. Are you sure yours isn't cracked? I cracked my original copy for debugging purposes with SCI Studio VGA's compiler, and it was a piece of cake (though I never released my patch).

Do you have an original LSL1 VGA, or is yours downloaded?

So, you're trying to say that SQ3 was translated into spanish the same way Zerowing was translated into english? "Someone set up us the bomb!"

No. I don't know what is that Zerowing thing, but I just said that the game doesn't have an official translation. There are a couple of translations made by fans using SCI Studio and some more programs. They aren't much good, though...

Zerowing was translated into English by a sole Japanese dude taking English classes once a week. It ended up something like this :

Proper Translation : You appear to be preoccupied, gentlemen.

Zerowing : How are you gentlemen!!

Proper : Thanks to the cooperation of the UN forces, we have captured all your bases.

Zerowing : All your base are belong to us!!

Proper : Impossible!

Zerowing : What you say!!

and it goes on...

Mr. T.

Pleeease... We've been over this... The spanish amateur translations aren't that crappy, since they were made by people whose native language is spanish, so...

Brian:

My version is a pretty common version around here... It was released by a cracking group called "The Untouchables" (and included a nice lsl intro!) and is the disk version...

But I'm pretty sure it's not cracked... Since the code isn't in the script files! I've done some cracking myself and know that removing the *entire* copy-protection *code* from the game, isn't only very hard, but also totally unnecessary...

BTW: So, the LSL1SCI CD version exists? What's it like?

I now have seen the "EGA" screenshots. Guys, these games are not rare, they are just the Amiga Versions. Since the Amiga 500 had only 32 Colors at maximum when not in half-bright-mode.
These screenshots are looking familiar to me because i have play Kings Quest 5 and Larry 5 on my Amiga. It was a real torture playing these games without a Harddisk :-)
These Games are not rare ... in my eyes

Uh, I have played those games on the PC (not using WinUAE, or any other Amiga emulator)... And the page containing the screenshots clearly states: "DOS Screenshots" (since Amiga games are also covered)...

So they aren't Amiga versions...
