I'll start up a new topic tonight with my list so we can expand on that...

Errr... Still planning to do so?

I updated the list a bit:
Marked more EGA games that I have now, and added more screenshot links to QfG1 Japanese - Check them out! I really wish I had this game.

Check out this cool Japanese page about QfG1:
link 1.
If it helps (and I guess it will :-), you can try this babelfish translation:
link 2.
From what I understand, this translation was not made for the PC, but for a NEC console called PC-9801. There are several emulators for this console, but I have no idea how we can obtain the game itself.
Anyway - I'm not sure now that the game qualifies for the list, unless it'll include SCI games for other platforms as well... what do you think?
I personally think this game is too rare to be taken out of the list. Who could've imagined a Japanese Quest for Glory? :-)

EDIT: I was too late... You beat me...

Anyway, it's still rare... Just keep it on the list, since probably all Japanese Sierra games are made for those kind of computers (knowing the Japanese computer market)... I could be wrong, however...

HWM: can you send me your AGI list or post it? I'd like to include that too.

I could translate between Japanese and English if that game is in Hiragana - we are learning it this year in Japanese

I have no idea if it's Hiragana. just go to the web page and check it out yourself:
