Politics is supposed to be the second-oldest profession. I have come to realize that it bears a very close resemblance to the first.

Yeah, LSL 1
I can pass the usual how-old-are-you-questions, but I can't pass the legal-copy-version-question >:( It just changes the question... But I'll fool around some more ;) :D

Just get the SCI decoder VGA (SDV.EXE)... Dump TEXT.719 (atleast on this copy) and view it with Notepad or something alike... Before the actual question is a number, where A=1, B=2, etc. This also works with the age-questions.

Thanks folks!

There are some questions that I know, so I just press CTRL-ALT-X until I get that particular question. :)

Jeez, kids.  My sister and I defeated the age quiz on the originall PC release when I was twelve.  We used this thing called an encyclopedia.
I hope you realize that one day I will devour the Earth.

I beat it too around that age, but with a little thing called 'trial and error'. It's not as efficient as an encyclopedia though.

So, because I don't know
  • Where Bourbon Street is
  • How to pick the non-AMERICAN-sportsman out the line
  • Where the Office of Whose Whom is located
I'm just a kid huh... Well thanks.

I won't bother you anymore with stupid questions.

You can't learn the perfect pick up line or other questions of the sort in an encyclopedia. For those, movies, tv and adults are the sources to those answers.

I know more answers to those questions now than I did when I first played it and thank god because at the age of 8 you don't exactly have the right attitude or knowledge to get around in such a game, so I wouldm't feel old if I were you , junc.

Well obviously this was made to screen out US children at the time...obviously they failed. The questions not being very foreign oriented has probably stumped more of us outsiders than any number of American customers. Not to make this sound like a racial issue, but sierra really hasn't opened it's arms to various markets on that one.

I remember asking my grandma about some of them.  I don't think she knew what the game was about, even though it was on her computer.  Stupid old grandma.

When I got the game I just tried to answer the questions until I learned about the cheat, which made it a lot easier... But the questions were quite hard and I don't know if many other adults who maybe didn't speak English that well would have been able to answer them.
