Not sure what is going on, but it is working for me now. Not sure why it didn't before. Before I had tried it after exploring it for a while, but starting from the first room accessed from the opening debug manual worked. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps I had set some flags that somehow overrode it?

There seem to be a ton of weird stuff with the EQ games. Like why does ALT-I sometimes only display one column of items (e.g. rm220)?

Threepwang found so many bugs in EQ1 I can only assume the budget for QA just wasn't there and the devs did the best they could with the time they were allowed. It probably didn't help these are "edu" titles and not the high-profile releases.

As fun as restoring the debug stuff is, I don't think I want to shoot for perfection on this. It's a dev tool, and time would be better spent finding and fixing any bugs that exist in the actual game. Just my opinion though.

Weird indeed. I have also noticed that if the script debugger help is called after playing a bit it is displayed center justified. Also, some different inventory items are listed in different rooms.

I have started a new debug entry for the game on the Wiki. http://sciwiki.sierrahelp.com//index.php?title=SCI_Debug_Modes#EcoQuest_2

I think this is great. We've made a lot of progress on EQ2 debugging, but we're at the point of diminishing returns. Adding what we have to the wiki is probably appropriate at this time. You might want to add the two mouse commands ALT-Click and CTRL-ALT-Click to the debug commands table, but otherwise this might be as good as it gets.

It's already there. Look at the bottom of the table.

I must have scrolled too far up to KQ6 when I checked. TY!
