That's what it means.

Of course, you could have a hypothetical SCI 1.0 terp that already had the scr/hep split. After all, the EQ1 diskette version already had message resources (albeit simple noun/verb/text format, no cond/seq or even talker).

EQ2 has a restore on the "Where to" popup, but not in your EQ1CD. Could be a handy thing to have.

But I do see it (here's attached).

Not sure what is going on. Some variability going on. Note the difference in color, too.

That's really odd. I do get your color scheme highlighting diferences when using SCI.EXE vs SIERRA.EXE, but I always have the Restore option. I tried adjusting several DOSBox settings, but it was always the same.

If you'd like to send me your game folder in a private message I can test if it's reproducible on my machine.

I'll look into it further. Perhaps just a fluke. It might be that I was initially using the recompiled copy of the game to generate the debug files. I was noticing other issues with it including old saves had become incompatible. I dropped the debug files into an unrecompiled copy with no issue.

Too bad we do not have a debug enabled interpreter for it like Kawa's.

The terp used in PQ1VGA and Crazy Nick's - version 1.001.029 - has the scr/hep split, but uses the SCI1.0 compression functions (no PKWARE in sight).

That just confirms what I was saying, from where I'm standing :)

Preliminary Wiki entry: http://sciwiki.sierrahelp.com//index.php?title=SCI_Debug_Modes#EcoQuest_1_CD I have not uploaded the debug archive yet, waiting for a finalized version.
I guess by now it's already finalized, maybe upload it now?

Thanks for uploading! I'd do it myself but the wiki is closed for new users.
